Leadership
Training Program
The Dutch Institute Cordium Core Evolutionary (NICE), together with
the Core Energetics Radical Aliveness Institute Los Angeles,
participates in a Leadership Training Program offered by Beyond Words. Anna
Timmermans, director and senior teacher of NICE, is one of the teachers
in the course.
Beyond Words (BW) is a non-profit
organization whose mission
is to promote the empowerment of women, the healing of emotional wounds
and traumas and the undermining of prejudice as a path towards building
peace in Israel.
Background
For years much of the behavior of those who live in the Middle East
has been led by painful emotions that have no safe place to be
expressed and released. Palestinian Arabs and Jews who live in Israel
and in the Palestinian Occupied Territories rarely meet to listen to
one another and talk about their feelings. Even rarer are opportunities
where they can gather together and work through and transform these
painful emotions.
This course is all about this transformative work and the goal is
that the Jewish and Arab Palestinian participants themselves become a
powerful healing presence when faced with strong emotions in their
every day lives. We believe that having more and more people who can
safely handle painful emotions and transform them is a
major key to our ability to work for and achieve peace in this part of
the world.
About the course
This 300 academic hour course offers a theoretical and experiential
exploration into alternative methods that promote peace, positive
leadership, dialogue and joint living. Participants will have an
opportunity to study both Core Energetics Radical Aliveness with Ann
Bradney Director of the California Institute and Anna Timmermans,
Director
of
the
Dutch Institute and the Beyond Words multi disciplinary
approach with Nitsan Gordon, director of Beyond Words
and lead facilitator Sylvia Margia and others from
the staff of the Beyond Words Organization.
Participants will meet for two six day sessions
and five weekends throughout each year. During the second year they
will be required to practice the approach in small groups and one on
one settings bringing material for supervision to the group meetings.
Those who graduate will receive a Radical Aliveness Core Energetics
Practitioner certificate from the school of Radical Aliveness and a
facilitator certificate from the Beyond Words Organization.
